Last October, during the SOFA 2015 we installed a simulator that took the attendants through a frightful, adrenaline filled and thrilling zombie invasion, in the streets of Bogota.
It was necessary in the development of this content to mix several technologies. For visualization an oculus rift was used; to provide interaction for the user, specifically a weapon to defend himself, a hacked Wii controller, to track the visor and the weapon prop, reflective markers that were being tracked by a motion capture system.
The result was an installation that attracted hundreds of attendants from the fair to the client's stand. This assured the client a distinctive presence in the event, which was the principal objective of the campaign. Also, on of client allies' products was sponsored, one that worked perfectly with the installation's theme: Walking Dead
